Oak Occasional Table
 This
octagonal English oak occasional table makes no secret
that it is designed and imitates one of Robert "mouse
man" Thompson's famous pieces. Made from solid English
oak it is hand crafted from some of the best quality
materials available. The top is jointed from a number
of fully quarter sawn pieces, showing off the full beauty
of the oak grain, and is finished with a slight ripple
effect.
The centre column is chunky yet
curvaceous. The top is fixed to this sub structure using
"buttons" that allow for movement without stress. All
is sealed, cut back, waxed and buffed up to a pleasing
lustre finish.
Alternative sizes can be made to
order. A pair will sit comfortably providing large,
solid standing surface. Please contact us so that we
